The company has also collaborated with many international bodies such as Dubai Culture, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, Katara in Doha, The Spring Festival Bahrain, the Beiteddine Arts Festival, The Dubai Opera, the Greek National Opera House, and The Marrakesh Du Rire.
Our Story
Ali Matar is a theatre and concert producer based between London and Dubai.
Matar received a Ph.D. from the London South Bank University and founded AM Management and Productions in 2003. He works closely with industry professionals and venues as can be demonstrated by some of his latest collaborations with Raymond Gubbay Ltd and International Entertainment Corporation with shows at the Royal Albert Hall, London Palladium, His Majesty’s Theatre, Theatre Royal Haymarket, The London Coliseum and many more.
Recent productions by Matar include Sawalha’s play, “Rest Upon The Wind”, inspired by the life and times of Kahlil Gibran, and showed in ten different cities
a theatrical Musical Production named “Broken Wings” based on Khalil Gibran’s first poetic Novel with the same title that launched in 2018 in London’s West End at the Theatre Royal Haymarket with sold-out evenings and standing ovations on all shows and was recently nominated for “Best Musical of the year” and “Best album of the year” and had co-produced the Umm Kulthum & The Golden Era – a Musical Tribute at the London Palladium with Mona Khash Production on the 2nd March 2020. Matar also produced RUMI – THE MUSICAL at the London Coliseum in November 2021 by Dana Al Fardan and Nadim Naaman based on a story by Evren Sharma.
To date, Matar has produced over 100 concerts and shows in Cities from London, Dubai, Amman, Muscat, Sydney, Doha, Toronto, Paris, Athens, and New York to name a few.
